The Tricities has recently been catching on to the local deals thing. New websites such as Save Right Now and Daily Deal Tricities have encouraged me to try some new restaurants and salons.  These Groupon-esque sites offer a local deal at a discounted price so if you catch it on the right day you can really get a bargain.  Another site that I like is Kingsport Deals which has a variety of local coupons you can print.  If you haven’t picked up the Little Coupon Book, definitely grab one next time you see it.  You can also print out the coupons online.  It has a decent variety of local coupons that usually expire within the month.

Recently I came across a pamphlet called The Tri-City Saver and was really impressed by the coupons it offered.  In the very back was a $1 coupon for Golden Corral’s Breakfast Buffet.  That’s a very rare discount and we enjoyed it!!  Even better, you can go online and print more coupons for local restaurants and stores.  One of our favorite Chinese buffets is China Star near Church Hill and Tri-City Saver had a 15% off printable coupon for it.  That will make my kids happy, and mommy’s wallet happy too!

Why am I showing you these?  The more that these sites are used, the more local businesses will participate in offering great deals. That benefits all of us!

So if you’re headed out for Valentine’s Day, be sure to check one or more these sites for some additional savings on your big night out!
