Recently we discovered that our favorite Ryan’s Buffet location is closed. Apparently, it was a sudden closure. We’d traveled to Greeneville, TN to eat there and do some back-to-school shopping. Thankfully, there’s a Ryan’s restaurant in Asheville, NC so we will plan to visit that one soon. Family Night at Ovation Brands’ portfolio of restaurants – Old Country Buffet, Ryan’s, Hometown Buffet, Country Buffet – and Furr’s Fresh Buffet are fun to enjoy with the whole clan! This month, they’re rolling out a new Family Night promotion featuring the popular children’s TV series, StoryBots. The StoryBots are curious little creatures who live beneath our screens, offering a world of learning and fun for kids, parents, and teachers.
On Thursday evenings, from August 23rd through September 27th between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., kids may participate in different interactive and educational activities in Ovation Brands’ restaurants and Furr’s Fresh Buffet locations. It’s also a great way for the family to save on a dinner out, since kids eat for $1.99 from 4 p.m. to close with the purchase of a regular-priced adult or senior meal.

I would eat the fried chicken and salad
I would love to have the fried chicken at Hometown Buffet. Also, I’d go for a couple pieces of cake…Chocolate and carrot!
When we visit Hometown Buffet the Hand-Breaded Fried Chicken is one of my favorite foods to eat!
My main priority when I eat there is to leave enough room for dessert. I eat some fried chicken, some mashed potatoes, and some rolls, but at least half my meal is from the dessert section.
I’d like to eat brunch at Hometown, try out their breakfast food offerings like waffles, pancakes, hash browns and sausage.
I like the mac and cheese! YUMMM!

Hands down my favorite thing to eat at Hometown is the fried chicken, followed closely by the chocolate cake!

My favorite thing to eat at Old Country buffet is the crispy chicken and all their wonderful desserts but I love most of their food its probably easier to say what I dont like.
I’d like to have the fried chicken at Hometown Buffet. The carrot cake is a great meal finisher!
I would like to have a nice big juicy hamburger with mushrooms and swiss cheese with some guacamole on it too.
I always like to get their mashed potatoes & gravy.
