Will you have a few minutes to yourself to enjoy a good book over the holidays?  I sure hope so!    This wordless picture book, Noah: A Wordless Picture Book, is an incredible visual presentation of Noah’s faith.  You can actually look through the book on Amazon and I highly encourage you to do so. You won’t believe the detail and emotion in the artwork. My son enjoyed looking through this book by himself; even when I offered to read it with him, he declined. I think the beautiful illustrations so captivated him that he wanted the experience to be truly wordless. The pages are set up almost like a comic book or graphic novel. The story is told through scenes rather than words. Since there’s no text, the story is entirely dependent upon the artwork. The book does not disappoint! One fun feature of this book is that you can look for “Squeakers the Mouse” on each page. I wouldn’t mention that to your child until after you’ve introduced the book, though, because that game becomes quite the fixation!  Normally I’d advocate the less-expensive ebook but in this case, I highly suggest that you splurge on the hardcover. It’s still reasonably priced at under $15 on Amazon right now, and it’s just a book you’ll want to see in print.  Put this book on the shelf in your church nursery or the daycare and it’s definitely going to be enjoyed by the kids (and probably the grown-ups, too!) Author Mark Ludy has a tremendous gift and I feel so blessed that I got to see a little bit of it in this book.was inspired by actual events.

  3. The illustration was magnificent. I would love for my whole family to be able to see the power of this picture book. It would make a great addition to our family library. I also like that the book “The Promise” by Beth Wiseman is based on actual events. I think I would really enjoy this book too. I’d also like to read Plain Perfect. It has great reviews and sounds like an interesting read. It’s that time of year when temperatures plummet to below freezing and there is nothing I like better to do than curl up on the couch next to the wood stove to read a good book while sipping a cup of hot tea. Thanks for sharing these two wonderful books with your readers.
