The new TMNT lunchbox will make it home

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Tonight I solidified my place as the Mom of the Universe in my son’s eyes. During a quick trip to Old Navy to grab a few of their $5 tees (great deal, huh?!) I ended up in a long Christmas-season line. I’m a total sucker for the shelves of nonsense that are waiting in the checkout line. Knowing that my kids could each use a new water bottle, I added those to my purchases. Then I noticed a cool TMNT lunchbox. My daughter had a mini-meltdown last week because I used one of her old lunchboxes for her brother. He didn’t care, but she sure did. He definitely needed a lunchbox of his own, so I added that to the pile in my arms. When I got home, he was beyond excited about his newly acquired lunchbox!  Then he informed me that it was just like Aiden’s lunchbox.  Apparently there are more than a few TMNT fans at his preschool.   No worries, I just pulled out one of his new Bright Star Kids labels and stuck it near the handle.  Just for good measure, I stuck one to the zipped inside, too.

When ordering our labels, I went with the School Labels Kit.  It has a good assortment of the sizes we’ll use most frequently.  The circle labels are my favorite.  The icon is front-and-center with the name arched above the icon.  There are lots of bright color choices available with the School Labels Kit, too.  Designing our label was super easy and took only a few seconds.  The hardest part was choosing an icon!!  Right now Bright Star Kids is offering free shipping to the US on all label orders.  Pretty good deal for those who need to make sure those Christmas gifts stay in the family. We recently got an email at my own school asking teachers to remind the students to check the Lost and Found for the dozens of lunchboxes that are sitting there, waiting to make it home.   As for our new TMNT lunchbox, I know that my son will enjoy seeing his name right on the outside every time he eats his PBJ.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I think it’s important too for the kids to be able to have their own labels on their school products. There are so any that purchase the exact same ones so it’s great for our kids to see which one belongs to them

  3. The labels sound like a good idea

Labels are great. Kids like seeing their name and having items personalized. Plus, it helps keep track of their items. My granddaughter would love having a TMNT lunchbox especially one with her name on it.
