When choosing cosmetics and skincare, it’s great to have a lot of options. With so many of our population experiencing allergies to traditional products, we are quite fortunate to have natural choices for personal care products. When I received GEODEO to try, I was interested to see if they were effective on my summer body heat. We’re outside all the time during the summer months and it takes a toll on my sweat glands. Truthfully, I don’t actually sweat very much on a normal basis; it’s just that my b.o. can sometimes get the best of me if I’m not wearing something strong enough to mask the odor. It’s not a pretty thing.

These deodorants were quite strong in scent even though they are natural alternatives. The formula is very waxy and slick. I didn’t like the way they felt on my skin. When I dress, I like to have a completely dry underarm area so that my shirt doesn’t stick to my skin. The natural deodorant felt a little bit slippery, yet sticky, and made me feel like I was sweating even though it was really keeping me dry. It seemed to absorb into my shirt or skin after a few minutes and I didn’t notice that sensation for the rest of the day. I tried this a few times but didn’t continue using it because of that initial slick factor. I will keep these in the cabinet for those emergencies when I run out of my regular brand, but it’s not something I’ll use on a daily basis. I thought about following the application up with a powder to dry me off; that might be an alternative that works.

Still, I like having a natural option for deodorant. It’s important to consider that some people have very sensitive skin or prefer not to use chemically-based products. I liked that they are good for use by both men and women. Also, the size of the container is very generous. These deodorant sticks will last a long time.
