I chose this book as the giveaway prize because I’m so glad to see a book that’s meant for DADS. There are so many good parenting books out there but it seems like the ones I come across are geared more toward moms. Likewise, devotionals tend to be so heavy-handed that they’re just not appealing to the men I know. Written by country music artist Josh Turner, Man Stuff is a fresh look at the way Christian dads approach fatherhood. It’s not just a parenting book; instead, this is a book that will uplift dads in all areas of life. Each message is short enough to read over a cup of coffee in the morning, or while winding down in the evening. Additionally, each two-pager devotion is based on a verse of Scripture. There aren’t lengthy dialogues to weed through; nor will you find reflection pages to gloss over. Instead, it’s just an exceptionally down-to-earth message of encouragement for dads. And hey, the foreword is written by none other than Jase Robertson from Duck Dynasty. Ringing endorsement right there!
I would love to win Man Stuff! I think its a book that me and my boyfriend would read and enjoy. It just sounds like an amazing book. 🙂
