The Lucado Treasury of Bedtime Prayers has a 5-star rating on Amazon for good reason!  This beautiful hardcover book is a wonderful way to spend a few minutes with your precious child at the end of a long day.  Max Lucado’s trademark gift for words is present throughout this book, with gentle illustrations to go along with the spiritual imagery.  While this would seem to be a collection of bedtime prayers, it’s really appropriate to enjoy throughout the day.  Children will enjoy the fun bouncy prayers as much as they nod off to the quieter, serious messages.  Scripture is a prevalent part of the pages as well.  Although many books get passed on from our home to other libraries, the Lucado Treasury of Bedtime Prayers is one book that we’ll keep for always.

Rainbows signify God’s love to me, based on the story of Noah from Genesis.  When I see a rainbow, I’m reminded of God’s amazing love for his children.  Being a Christian has led to wonderful things in my life; it also made it possible for me to meet a spectacular network of Family Christian bloggers. I’ve been blessed to receive a few Family Christian appreciation certificates over the past few weeks, and would love to share the happiness with you.  You’ll find so many Easter gift ideas and home decor items at Family Christian; don’t feel as if you’re limited to only books!  One lucky reader will receive a $10 Family Christian appreciation certificate — I hope that as you enjoy it, you remember that God loves you unconditionally!  That’s better than any treasure.
