Easter is one of the sweetest times of the year. It’s visually breathtaking, with God’s reminder of life’s continuous renewal.  The air even smells fresh!  For me, Easter is the holiday that gives me the most hope.  I serve a risen savior, one who defeated death and loves me like no other.  How can those ideas be shared with my children?  God Bless Our Easter, a new board book from Tommy Nelson, is a beautiful way to gift my children with these beliefs.

The colors in the book’s illustrations are subtle yet vibrant. Each image celebrates nature in a wondrous way, from the piglets who splash in puddles to the puppy playing chase with a butterfly.  While reading this book with your child, encourage your little one to act out the animals while they play.  Wouldn’t your wee one enjoy twitching her nose like the bunny or dancing like a foal?    The action words are even written in a different font and color so you will remember to emphasize them.  The quality of this book is also appealing.  The padded cover is durable and can be wiped clean, while the board pages are easy for little hands to turn.
