When I saw this giveaway opportunity I just had to get involved. Maybe it’s the teacher in me, but mythology has always held me with complete fascination. I love reading about mythology from all cultures. It amazes me that these myths have endured through the centuries. While we tend to shrug them off as stories, we still honor the ancient traditions by referencing them in science, culture, and in our own literature. I enjoy mythology from most civilizations, but my favorites are Greek and Egyptian. One of the reasons that I love Egyptian mythology so much is that they were so very creative! The characters have such unique features. I think it’s amazing that they brought their beliefs into the “real world” in such a tangible way.

I read a really interesting novel that I want to share with you. Masks of the Lost Kings. I reviewed it in the fall and have been hoping to share it with someone who would appreciate the story! It’s a very intense thriller with lots of mythology sprinkled throughout the adventure. It’s one of those books I just didn’t want to put down.
