My daughter inherited a lot of traits from me. Her dark hair, her love of words, and her mood swings reign as the top three. This year as she hit her 10th year, I realized that she also inherited my acne-prone skin. She’s always had sensitive skin but it seemed to get better over the years. As she heads toward puberty, it appears that her skin is retaliating by breaking out. We always used to use the quick wipes but those just aren’t enough anymore. She needed something that could take care of the problem quickly! We decided to try out the Clearasil Ultra® Rapid Action Daily Gel Wash to get rid of the tiny bumps on her nose that don’t want to go away.
She really liked the pump on the Rapid Action wash. It’s quick to use; just pump out a small amount and dot it on. It’s great to use overnight when you notice a red spot trying to appear. I always seemed to get these from talking on the phone or leaning my chin on my hand. She gets them whenever she gets overheated and sweats. The wash is very light and easy to apply. It has a smooth, liquid texture so it’s easy to rub onto your face.
She applied the wash just before heading into the shower so it would be easy to rinse off. She concentrated on her nose, then washed the rest of her face. As you can see, the results were extremely impressive!! By the time I picked her up from school in the afternoon, the bumps were almost gone. Any redness that had been visible in the morning was completely gone. My camera even had a difficult time picking up the focus because there wasn’t anything to focus on. The bumps that do remain are super small. She will apply the Rapid Action wash one more time tonight then just follow up with the daily wash as normal. These photos are not retouched at all. I was so happy to find a product that will work for her!!
She asked to keep the rest of the Clearasil for herself; however, I’ll be buying a supply of these products for myself. Even though I’m almost 40 years old, my skin didn’t get the message. The occasional stress pimple or hormone-induced acne fun still crops up. I’ve also noticed that it takes longer for my pimples to clear up. In fact, they sometimes leave a dark spot or scar when they “heal.” It will be really convenient to buy just one brand for both of us. No longer will I need an assortment of cleansers and face washes. We can use the same products, and I know Clearasil will work to clear up our skin issues!
My daughter really likes how Clearasil makes her face look cleaner. Since she’s heading into the very impressionable teen years, I’m glad to know that we have a product right in our bathroom that can easily be incorporated into her busy day. Whether she’s headed to Tae-Kwan-Do lessons or going to a Girl Scouts meeting, she’ll feel good about her skin. That’s very important to me! I’ll be checking out Clearasil on Facebook and Twitter for skincare facts and tips this winter.

It’s great that they have product options – daily use and when breakouts occur. This really lets you take action to help prevent and fight against those horrible breakouts. Good luck to you and your daughter.
My husband and I use some Clearasil treatments, but I’ve never tried the washes. Nice to know they make a difference overnight.
I used Clearasil as a teen and it worked great for me. I would love to get some for my neice for Christmas.
Clearasil used to make an incredible bar soap that worked perfectly on my skin, but they just quit making it for some reason and started selling nothing but liquid face soap (Grrrrr)! Oh well, the liquid face soap is good too (but not as good).
Good that you already have your daughter thinking about taking care of her skin. You hate to think of your kids as growing up, but it’s important that they take care of themselves.
Pimples are no fun. Blemishes suck!
My problem is black heads. I wash, use astringent, nothing seems to take it away. I will try Clearasil products once more. Thank you for the heads up.
