When making your Christmas shopping list, it can be overwhelming to think of all the gifts that must be purchased. In some cases, you could be unsure about the type of gift a recipient might enjoy. For example, if you’re purchasing a gift for a church leader or one of your children’s teachers, it’s hard to know what to buy unless you know what that person likes. Consider Burt’s Bees for a product that can be used by anyone!
We buy Burt’s Bees at Walmart because our family loves their great selection of natural products. The Burt’s Bees section is located very close to the checkout stations at our Walmart so we can easily zip in and out, getting exactly what we need! If you haven’t shopped the Burt’s Bees section recently, you might be surprised at the variety of available personal care items! This year, Burt’s Bees is celebrating their 30th anniversary. They’ve been busy bees in those three decades!
If you don’t have a lot of time on your hands to create the perfect gift, you can purchase one or more products already packaged for gift-giving. What a timesaver! The price point is just right for gifting, too. Hand lotions and creams are great for teachers who handle a lot of papers. Lip balm is a thoughtful gift for someone who spends a lot of time outside in the cold weather, such as your mail carrier. You could even buy a packaged set, such as the Tips and Toes kit pictured above, and separate the items into several gifts! Since we’ll be giving small gifts to the workers at church who spend so much time with our children, I wanted to give them the body lotion with a cute printable.
To highlight the “Bee” theme, I created a printable using the Beatitudes passage from Matthew chapter 5. To copy this, just right click and save it to your computer! You can print it out on a full page, as I did, or insert it into a document to make smaller copies. This project made me wish I had a color printer!
Next, I wrapped the printable around the tube of lotion. If your lotion doesn’t stay in the paper tube, add a little tape to secure it. Next, tie the bundle with a pretty ribbon. I chose gold to coordinate with the Burt’s Bees products, but you could certainly use a holiday ribbon!
You could make several of these in less than 20 minutes! This little lotion gift is the perfect item when you want to BEE a blessing to someone special. When you need an impromptu gift for a hostess or one of your child’s coaches, you’ve got it covered with Burt’s Bees.

My favorite Burt’s Bees products are the tinted lip balms. I am not a fan of lipstick but the little bit of added color from Burt’s Bees is just enough!

Love Burt’s Bees. Their holiday surprise bags are amazing (and always sell out quickly…and always cause drama :-P) I use their lip balms to help soften up chapped skin around my nose from my CPAP. Love their lotions, too 🙂

Burt’s Bees makes a great gift for just about anyone because hey, we all have lips and skin and stuff, and the products are made from natural ingredients and probably mostly vegetarian. I mean, is it ok to eat honey if you’re vegan, or do you have to negotiate with the bees first. I don’t know. Anyway, love the tingle of their lip balm and fa la la la la.
I have heard this is a very good product. I have never used any item, but would like to change that.
