A new month always brings great new books, doesn’t it? This month I’m excited to share with you another thrilling read from James Rubart. If you’ll remember, my review of Soul’s Gate revealed how intense this novel was. When I received my review copy of Memory’s Door I got that same chill of goosebumps from the vivid cover imagery.
When you look at the cover, what emotions do you expect to feel while reading this captivating novel?
James Rubart has this uncanny way of getting into my head with his images of spiritual warfare. I guess I don’t really think about it very often, being so wrapped up in the world as I know it. In my heart, though, I know that there are forces fighting for my mind and my choices. Rubart puts that into his novels in such a way that I get all emotionally tied up. Cheering, crying, and coming to the reality that the Christian life is a constant thing of motion…..that’s what I find myself doing when I read James Rubart’s novels.
