God must want me to have a clean house on Easter. For the past ten years or so, we have guests at our home for Easter. My babies were born around that time, so there’s usually a party to plan. Otherwise, there’s an egg hunt to enjoy. At the very least, we have family over for Easter lunch. So that means it’s time to clean up for all these people!
What’s the hardest room for you to keep clean? For me, it’s the bathroom. When our house was built, they thought it would be a good idea to use almond-colored fixtures galore. The result is that our surfaces never look completely clean. I am a fan of stark-white bathrooms, and this just isn’t it. Since our bathrooms are high-traffic areas and well, because of the goings-on in there, I feel the need to frequently clean our bathrooms. My son has a complete meltdown if he sees anything in the shower so it has to stay nearly sterile in there. My daughter somehow flings shower gel and shampoo around while she’s bathing so there’s always a nice little surprise dried on the shower wall. Plus, our bathroom is in this little back corner of the house and the air circulation isn’t that great. The shower walls get mildewed pretty quickly and I just don’t have time to clean them every single day. Are you seeing my dilemma—constant need of cleaning?
When Wet & Forget shower cleaner arrived on my doorstep, I was skeptical. I mean, really……… just leave it and expect it to work? The size of the bottle was impressive, though. That’s a lot of time to get to forget housecleaning, if I do say so. I’ll give anything a try if it makes my life a little easier. In this video, you can see how the Spray & Forget bottle sprayer is assembled. It’s really easy and only takes a few seconds.
If you have a hard time getting the sprayer to work, troubleshoot the issue. Did you push the nozzle down all the way? Really get some muscle into it! You might also need to pull out more of the tubing to get it to spray. I’ve used Wet & Forget for a few weeks now, and I’ve had good results. First of all, you’ve got to start with a clean shower. At first, I sprayed and left it. I did have to go back and wipe it down (but the grime was well-loosened by then, so there was no elbow grease involved!) In the weeks since then, we just spray the solution on the walls and leave it. The bottle says to do so once a week, but I spray it down at least three times a week, sometimes every day. I’m a freak like that. Like I said, I was skeptical, but I’m really impressed at how well Wet & Forget has kept the mildew at bay. There’s no harsh chemical smell either. My other concern was that my kids would have a skin reaction to the cleaner, but so far so good. I even wiped down the walls after using it and checked the cloth to see if there was any nastiness left behind….nope! Clean as a whistle! This bottle is huge, too. It’s sure to last for a good while. That’s a lot of extra time on my hands! Oh no, maybe those houseguests will want me to cook for them now……

I love a cleaner that does not have harsh smells. I have never used this one. I will have to give it a try.
I haven’t heard of this so appreciate the share. Shower ick is not my favorite thing to clean either.

I like that there’s no harsh chemical smell!
Oh man I have guests coming again TOO! Luckily no overnight visitors that I know of yet…I will remember that shower cleaner though as Kaboom is so chemically and that’s what I currently use.
