My kids are always hearing about my childhood favorites. Sometimes this information is met with eyerolls; other times, they’re stunned by the bizarre nature of the 70’s and 80’s. Pet rocks and treasure trolls, for example, just look crazy. Gumby is another nostalgic part of my growing up years. It’s time to school the kids on this classic.
My son thinks Gumby is creepy, and I have to admit that I see what he means! My daughter, however, was completely impressed that I had this DVD. She seemed to think it was a relic from the past. Little does she know that I was excited to get VHS in the 80s!

I used to watch Gumby with my older sister as a kid and JUST bought a set of the little bendable toys from BookOutlet! My daughter has been playing with them a lot so when she saw me almost scroll past this she yelled Gumby! We were both excited to see it! Fingers crossed for the chance to share the actual show with her! 😀
