Three of us in the Savings in Seconds household own assorted Apple products, all of which require the lightning cable charger. Finding a charger, though, is like looking for the Holy Grail. We lose them so easily. I use iphone chargers as stocking stuffers! Since chargers can be pricey, I try to find them at discount. Here are my favorite retailers for affordable chargers.
US Gift Giant
This was my first purchase through US Gift Giant, and I was really pleased with it. My charger arrived within just a couple of days. It was also affordable! The reviews are all positive, too. The cord itself is a braided cable, so it’s quite sturdy. There is no hesitation when I plug it in; the charge starts immediately. The length is just right for plugging in the USB port of my laptop. Five Below
I shared my love for Five Below in this post. The infatuation is still going strong. This is where I go when I need a charger right now. They have lots of chargers in so many different options that you’ll probably walk out with more than one. At just $5 each, though, I usually get a different color for each member of the family. I have had mixed luck with these chargers. The longer ones are really convenient, but they don’t seem to last as long for me. Maybe I pull on them too much or something. I need to keep the packaging and receipt next time so that I can return it if it doesn’t work.

I love getting multi-packs of phone chargers on Amazon if I can stand to wait a couple of days for them to arrive. It’s not unusual to find these in 4-packs or 6-packs, all for under $20. If you’re like me and have multiple lightning-cable users, this could be a great way to save money. When I’m buying these items on Amazon, I take the time to look at the reviews and star ratings.
