Homecoming comes during my favorite time of year.  The brisk fall weather reminds me of walks in the park and falling in love.  There’s a chill in the air that has to be chased away by some hot apple cider or some warm apple pie.  Pumpkins and falling leaves add beautiful color to yards and porches everywhere.  When I drive through town on Homecoming night, I love seeing all the parents taking pictures of their kids in their beautiful fancy outfits.  There’s something sweet about seeing those young people all dressed up, heading out for a night on the town.  I need to give you the disclosure, DressFirst asked me to share their site with you.   I’m glad to do it because this site really does have some great dresses at discounted prices.  You might not think that cheap homecoming dresses even exist.  It’s true that these formal gowns tend to be much pricier than normal clothing.  Big shocker, right?  But it’s also an exciting event for those high school kids and sometimes we’ve just got to dig into our purses and find a way to get that gorgeous dress.  It’s all worth it in the end!

I love this breezy dress that just whispers with glam.  The waistline accents make the dress have a beautiful fitted look, while the assymetrical skirt will look amazing while that Homecoming Queen stands with her escort on the field to be presented.  This dress retails for over $240 but is available at DressFirst for just over $150.  No one will know that the Homecoming Queen is dressed in her finery but paid a pittance!   While $150 is a lot of money to spend on a dress, I know that the high school girls in my area pay MUCH more for their Homecoming dresses.  If you live in an area where you don’t have a big selection of formal wear to shop from, shopping online would be a good option for you.

I also love this gorgeous flirty V-neck chiffon.  It retails for over $400 but is available at DressFirst for $135.99.  The ruffle at the skirt hemline make this a knockout.

The next thing I liked about the website is that each dress is shown from different views.  You can look at it from the back and side, allowing you a good idea of what it will look like in real life.  Each page tells you what customers ended up purchasing.  Somehow that appeals to my nosy self, knowing what other people bought when they were initially drawn to the same dress I liked.   Overall, it was fun to browse at DressFirst. It’s a site that I’ll come back to the next time I am in the market for formal wear.
