Do you think your family would like to have a meal made easy by Schwan’s?

The second thing I’m doing for myself is taking the time to keep my nails painted.  This is probably such a norm for most people; most of my friends keep a perfect manicure all the time.  While a spa mani is totally wonderful, I just don’t have the time (or the money) to do it on a regular basis.  Considering that my polish box is completely stocked, it’s time to do a manicure more often.  It forces me to sit still for a few minutes, plus I have to sit and do nothing while the polish sets.  It’s kind of nice to have an excuse to sit down!!

Today I received my August BeautyBox5 and was so excited about the contents.   The box contained a ha-uge sample of “hair food,” Nanacoco lip gloss, Pur-lisse SPF, La Fresh makeup removing wipes, and a teal Style Essentials nail polish.  The great thing about this sample box is that I wouldn’t normally have selected these shades.  The lip gloss is a bit too pinky for me; however, if topped with a bit of nude polish it could be just right.  I like the texture of it very much.  The La Fresh wipes are always a favorite because they’re absolutely perfect for packing in the travel case!  My favorite part of the box, though, is definitely the nail polish.  I never, ever would have chosen this shade at the store.  It’s just too bold and sassy for my normal manicures.  Tonight I decided to just try it on and I absolutely LOVE it.  The coverage is fabulous; it went on very evenly.  I used two coats to get a solid opaque finish, then used an OPI topcoat.  Tomorrow’s outfit was already going to be a teal dress that I bought at Maurice’s.  I know this shade will be perfect with it!  My daughter ooh’ed and ahh’ed when she saw it.  I felt so glamorous!!  Thank you, BeautyBox5!
