As he describes the journey of his marriage from dating to his wife’s death, his love for her shines off the pages. This story goes through so many emotions, both heavy and light, while documenting the experience the Faust family endured after a diagnosis of Wanda’s bile duct cancer. He mentions the people who gifted his family with comforts large and small, dinners out and food in the fridge. He also describes his depression after his wife’s death.

I love reading true stories and it’s been a while since I have read one. This book sounds so interesting and the type of story I love reading.
It sounds very sad but also is a wonderful tribute to his late wife and the love they shared. I lost a dad to cancer, so know how hard it is to watch the people we love die from it. It sounds like a good book to read.
I have several family and friends that went thru a battle with cancer. So wonderful when have others to stand by you then. Would love to read the book.
