I used to think the Loch Ness Monster was a very cool legend.  That is, until I read this article about a real river monster and now I’m completely weirded out.   I’ve never been a fan of swimming in lakes or rivers but can guarantee that I will NEVER do it EVER again.  Oh my goodness.  Yes, I must be completely out of touch with nature to not realize that things this enormous (not to mention hideous) exist in the waters of the US but holy guacamole, that is the stuff of nightmares.  This post contains affiliate links – opinions shared are mine.

On a lighter note, here’s a funny for you — Which Test Answers Deserve an “F” for Funny?   It gives me a new incentive to study with my daughter before a test because I sure as heck don’t want her test to be featured in an article someday!  Ha!!  But in my 16 years of teaching, I’ve had some doozies of my own.  No, none of my students’ work was featured in this article but I can totally relate to the teachers who provided a funny of their own on the papers.  It’s nice to see that some celebrities are celebrating teachers, by the way.
