When we were expecting our first baby, we wanted a green room. Somehow the paint I selected ended up being a bright lime green rather than the soothing grass that I envisioned. When we saw green light emanating from under the bedroom door in the morning, we knew that it was the wrong color and would have to be done again. Savings in Seconds is decor-challenged, as I’ve mentioned before. Finding inspiration from photos and books is just about the only way I can decorate my home. It’s not that I don’t appreciate the beauty of a well-decorated home…I just can’t envision it on my own. The psychology of color and texture has always interested me, so I was eager to read What’s Color Got to Do With It?. This guide to paint color ideas can help you create balance and harmony in your home just by providing the background about color choices. If you’ve been toying with thoughts of brightening a kitchen or subduing a bedroom’s walls, this is the book for you. This book is also written in completely understandable language….it’s something that you can pick up and read in a day, or stash it in your bag to take along to the home improvement store. I will also mention that this book can save you time and money by helping you to only have to paint ONCE! I speak from experience on this one…remember my story about painting the nursery? This book would have saved our marriage a lot of turmoil on that day.
