I’m not sure why, but it always surprises me when a debut author presents an amazing story like Engraved on the Heart.  In her first novel, author Tara Johnson creates a powerful figure in Keziah Montgomery.  It’s a fresh look at Christian fiction.  This would make a wonderful gift for the reader on your gift list!

I love the historical background in Engraved on the Heart.  Savannah is one of my favorite cities.  Deeply rooted social issues that corrupted the South still hold relevance today.  Readers will be moved by the emotional topics and tender romantic themes.
