We love to go camping in the spring, summer, and fall. Though we sometimes go out to restaurants on our camping trips, we really prefer to cook at the camper while we’re at the campground. My husband is usually in charge of cooking on the Blackstone or over the campfire. He’ll be thrilled with these BBQ Glove Mitts from Cave Tools.

One of the first Christian book series I ever read was Left Behind. It was so good that I bought all the books in the series, loaning them out to friends anytime I could get someone to read it. When asked to share Dead Sea Rising by Jerry B. Jenkins, it was an automatic yes.

Ten years seems like an eternity when you’re young. As you get older, though, ten years goes by in the blink of an eye. For heavy emotions like grief and pain, ten years feels like the blink of an eye, too. It’s not always enough time for the heart to heal. Just read Things I Never Told You and you’ll see what I mean!

Written from a teenager’s perspective, this book takes a tremendously tough topic and carries it to the edges of emotional heartache. I really appreciated the author’s attempt to tackle such a hard issue, though I wish the writing had been more polished. I rate this 4 stars out of 5 when considering it would be easily read by most teens. [Read more…]
