How to soothe itchy skin during the winter months

Disclosure: I received product samples to try. Post contains affiliate links; opinions shared are mine.

My skin is generally easy going, but it complains during the winter months. Fortunately, natural remedies are working well for me this year! [Read more…]

Now that my kids are grown, I find myself missing those toddler sweeties.  More kids are not an option, though…..nor do I really want to go through that phase again.  I’ve found the perfect solution, though!  My husband and I get to volunteer in the toddler class every week for Sunday School.  Oh my word, those little ones are so PRECIOUS.  I look forward to that hour in the week!  The littles love to read, read, read so I take all of my review books with them. The Beginner’s Bible is a new favorite!

Disclosure: I received this book from BookLook. Post contains affiliate links; opinions shared are mine.

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope this is a blessed year for all of you.
My new year started with a broken tooth, a Smallville Season 1 marathon, and a delicious chicken pot pie from my BFF’s mom.  I’m not a big one for resolutions at New Year’s.  There’s nothing wrong with setting goals….it’s just that getting through the day without any major catastrophes is usually all I can get done.  However, this year I would like to focus on one thing.  I’d like to reconnect with old friends and show love to new friends.
