My mom drew daisies when she doodled. New Year’s Eve was an exciting time for my kids.  This year, we invited a special cousin to come play with us as we welcomed 2016.  My daughter took on the role of hostess by planning a new activity for each hour.  After they played the Game of Life, they played a rousing game of 20 questions.  Then the next hour, another event was planned.  Fun times with friends and family is such a big part of our lives.  This wonderful evening reminded me of the sweet book Meet My Best Friend by Sheila Walsh.  [Read more…]
