A few weeks ago during a cleaning spree, we unearthed one of my daughter’s sketchbooks from her early years. It was full of mermaids as only a 7 year old could imagine! It was a treasure, and I hope my daughter continues to save her sketches. She’s currently participating in an Inktober art challenge. Someday those sketchbooks will evoke wonderful memories for her. To encourage her to enjoy her art even more, I gave her this #iMustech watercolor pen set.

My daughter was delighted with these markers! They come in a sturdy yet easy-to-carry case that can fit into a backpack or purse. I like that the caps fit on top of each other, so it’s easy to keep track of those tiny plastic covers.

The first thing my daughter mentioned about these markers was that they’re dual-tip. Apparently that’s something she really appreciates in a watercolor pen. I tested out the tips just for fun. I’m not an artist by any means! It was clear that the colors are vivid, and the tips allowed me to add detail to my (very bad) doodle.

Even though I don’t create artwork, I can definitely see myself using these pens for grading and writing feedback on students’ papers. They would also be great for Bible journaling, bullet journals, color-coding notes, or even writing on holiday cards.

How would you use these pens?
