Books about spiritual warfare interest me; however, I don’t think I fully understood the details of The Hungering Dark.  This was a DNF for me.  

Part of the problem might have been in the ebook formatting.  It was difficult to determine the transitions between scenes and situations.  I found myself going back to double-check what I read.

The Hungering Dark centered around a middle class family who made sweet characters.   The panic-inducing supernatural situations in the book would make a terrific thriller.  There’s a decently clear picture between good and evil.  For me, there was just too much going on.  This is a book I might try again later, especially if I had it in print form.
