I don’t wear a lot of jewelry. Typically, it’s just my wedding ring, a simple pair of earrings, and possibly a necklace. My jewelry usually has symbolic meaning for me, whether it’s a gift from someone special, or a souvenir I bought from a trip we went on. When given the chance to select an item from Holly Lane’s collection, it was hard to choose. Every piece is special in its own way! I finally settled on the Esther Necklace because I love that Bible story.

It’s rare that the chain is as beautiful as its pendant, but that’s exactly the case with the Esther necklace. The silver necklace is beautiful all on its own, with freshwater pearls and other accents to set off the Star of David pendant. The back of the pendant reads “You Make Me Brave.” What a powerful message to wear close to your heart!

I found that the chain was shorter than I typically prefer, so I added my own extender chain to it. You can also find extenders at Holly Lane.

I love the story card that came with the Esther necklace. It’s a sweet way to send a lovely message to someone who needs to be brave.
