As a teenager, I enjoyed participating in the Bible Bowl competition each month with my church friends.  Through the Bible Bowl program, I was able to learn how fun it was to socialize with other Christians my age.  We also attended the NACC a few times where we got to listen to fantastic Christian music artists.  My cousin introduced me to contemporary Christian music; we loved D.C. Talk and Audio Adrenaline.  Attending live concerts was more than exciting.  It was exhilarating!  I loved the music but, most of all, the concert atmosphere promoted a sense of community.  I hope that my children will enjoy concerts like this when they get older.   Our family enjoys listening to our local Christian radio station.  Because of this, my kids are familiar with many of the artists who are on the schedule for this year’s Winter Jam.
