It’s that time of year again — the Gratitude Giveaway is one of my favorite hops.  I feel so fortunate to have this tiny corner of the blogosphere all to myself.  Getting to read books, review products, and share those blessings is my “Me Time.”  Thank you for visiting Savings in Seconds!  In this giveaway, I get to share a gift with you.

This year I became a Book Depository affiliate.  It’s nice to have several sites available to compare prices.  Book Depository often has a lower price, and the free shipping is a nice bonus.  It’s especially handy for those who live outside the US!

My daughter and I are currently on The Haunting of Hill House episode 4.  We try to fit in TV time together whenever she isn’t swamped with homework.  In the meantime, I really wanted to read this book.  Can’t wait for it to come in the mail!

Last night, I read Under My Skin by Lisa Unger within 4 hours.  Couldn’t stop reading!  I stumbled across the Sleep Tight Motel ebook (free with Amazon Prime) earlier this month and loved Unger’s style.  After looking on The Book Depository, it seems that she has many more stories for my wishlist!

These are just a few of the books on my wishlist.  What about yours?

Which book would you choose? Why?

Check this out….

  1. I chose a book by Modiano, I’ll check which one is less than $10 if I win. He’s a great French writer, and I haven’t read all his books yet. Thanks for the giveaway, be sure to come and enter mine: https://wordsandpeace.com/2018/11/15/gratitude-giveaway-hop-2018/

  5. Hallo, Hallo, what a lovely bookaway!

I chose the final novel in a series I’ve been enjoying to read but haven’t had the chance to read this one yet “Girl in Red Velvet” by Margaret James. It is a series spread over two trilogies which arches back to the war eras. It is a very interesting series – how it goes through the generations and hugs close to one family as they learn how to move forward after adversities and tragedy. It is very well written and although this was published last, it fits more as the start of the second trilogy than the sixth installment of the series.
