Disclosure: I participated in the We Love Disney album review program as a member of One2One Network. I was provided an album to review but all opinions are my own.

Our family just returned from a Disney vacation. We have visited several times before, but each experience has its own special magic. This was our first family trip in several years; my husband wasn’t able to come with us on the last adventure. One of my favorite parts of being at Disney World is the bright, happy music that plays wherever you go. It’s truly everywhere! On the bus, in the waiting areas, and throughout the parks, you can hear wonderful Disney soundtracks. We find ourselves singing these tunes in our hotel room, too. Once we returned home, it was hard to believe that we’d just spent those wonderful days in The Happiest Place on Earth. An easy way to bring home the magic? Listening to the new We Love Disney album!

The new album, which will be released October 20, features artists including Ariana Grande and Gwen Stefani. The songs are a fresh take on old favorites! My daughter was really excited to hear Fall Out Boy’s version of “I Wanna Be Like You.” My favorite of the set was Tori Kelly’s “Colors of the Wind.” I think the lyrics to that song are just beautiful, and this version is absolutely perfect. On our trip, we got to see the Wishes celebration from the view of ‘Ohana restaurant for the first time. Hearing the song “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes” brought back that lovely memory. We also saw scenes from Mary Poppins on The Great Movie Ride, so we really enjoyed “A Spoonful of Sugar.” Finally, as much as I love Rascal Flatts, the only song I didn’t really love was “Let It Go.” While that song can be maddening, the original version is really the only one for me.

Grab your copy of We Love Disney on iTunes or on Amazon. It’s a great album to play when cleaning the house, or in your classroom. I dare you not to dance along!
