2014 stocking stuffers - savingsinseconds.com

So I’ve spent nearly an hour shopping on ModCloth’s  2014 Holiday Gift Guide and have found lots of great items and unique gifts for the “hardest person to shop for” person in my family.  MYSELF.  My poor husband has bought me so many gifts that I’ve returned because it just wasn’t my style.  Now, ModCloth?  Yes, that’s my style.  So just in case my personal Santa decides to take a peek at my wishlist, here are some items that need to be checked off.

Beautiful Balance Vase
Beautiful Balance Vase – $17.99

I adore the chintzy look of this vase for many reasons. It would be perfect for my colorful summer zinnias that always have stems that are too beautiful to cut. Plus, the price can’t be beat. There are usually a couple of empty teacups sitting on my cluttered nightstand, serving as evidence for staying up too late reading books. The vase would fit right in; it’s too cute. Just right as a gift from the kids.

Shining Statement Earrings
Shining Statement Earrings – $12.99

Really? Just $12.99 for a pair of gorgeous earrings? Yes, please, sign me up. These earrings are everything I like in ear jewelry. They’re a little bit dangly without having too much going on. The tiny bit of sparkle would stand out against my dark hair. I also love that they have a hook back for one-handed insertion as I run out the door. Check, check, and check.

Lavish-ful Thinking Quilt
Lavish-ful Thinking Quilt – $89.99

It’s been a while since I found a new quilt. We used to buy them at auctions and yard sales; normally I’m not a collector of anything but quilts were so pretty and practical. Many of our quilts have been washed and used so many times that their frayed charm has turned into threadbare embarrassment. The Thinking Quilt has a vintage look while being bold in blue. Totally loving it.

So those are the three things I’d put on my list this year. What goodies did you find?

Great earrings! Love the price, too. They are very unique and different just like the vase. It can be fun to shop for yourself, especially when you find a site that just screams your name. Hope Santa treats you well this year.
