Sorry that it’s been a while since my last post, friends. We had spring break 2 weeks ago, then my sweet husband had a health issue paired with a hospital visit. Thankfully, he is okay!
Busy as we’ve been, spring break gave our family a chance to take a much-needed road trip together. We found a new campground near Greeneville, SC then got to spend a few days at Myrtle Beach. My son also had fun taking a virtual road trip with the new game TT Isle of Man!
This simulation-style game replicates a real motorbike event. I’d never heard of that race before seeing this game. It’s clearly a dangerous route, since many competitors have died in the competition. My son isn’t a thrill seeker by any stretch, so he won’t be signing up for the Isle of Man competition! I’m glad he can have the virtual experience through this game.
A screenshot just can’t adequately show the beauty of this game. The routes are beautifully portrayed, looking realistic and almost tangible. Players can customize games by choosing different riders, bikes, and tracks. It’s quite challenging, too. My son spent at least an hour trying to master a particularly difficult patch of road. We got to talk about the difference between manual and automatic shift, which was a great real-world application. Other educational connections that correlate with TT Isle of Man include math, geography, and STEM topics.
At a nearby Game Stop, I saw TT Isle of Man on sale for $59.99. You can get it for slightly less on Amazon. The games is available on Xbox One and PS4.

I am glad that your husband is doing well. I have wanted to visit Myrtle Beach for a while now, but it is one of those trips that just gets pushed back. The video game sounds like a blast. 🙂
