It’s been a while since I shared a great restaurant with you. Let me introduce you to The Bagel Exchange! This hidden gem is located in downtown Kingsport, TN.  It’s sure to become a family favorite! 

The Bagel Exchange is a casual option for business lunches, too. They offer free wifi, easy-to-find parking, and second floor seating.

As you’d expect, you can find all kinds of fresh baked New York style bagels while you’re at The Bagel Exchange.  They also mix their own cream cheese spreads to enjoy with the bagels.  You can opt for one of their delicious muffins, or sample a soup!  There’s so much to love.

It’s a little intimidating to check out this menu, right?  Just step out of line and enjoy perusing the options. The staff is very friendly; if you want something different than the menu offers, just ask.  I’m sure you’ll be very pleased with what you order.

My kids both asked for breakfast sandwiches.  My daughter got the sandwich/soup combo, and my son got a ham and egg sandwich with a muffin.  The Bagel Exchange servings are very generous — the bagel alone was as big as my son’s face! I thought, “There’s no way he’ll finish this one.”  I was quite surprised that he polished off every last bite.  As soon as he finished his meal, he asked, “Can we come here again?”

My usual choice is sandwich #8 – the Sergeant.   I swap the provolone for swiss, and get it toasted. The sandwich is served on an onion bagel. The bagel has that perfect crunch and resistance on the outside, yet is soft and chewy on the inside.  Divine!  The Bagel Exchange uses Boar’s Head meats, and the quality really shines in this meal.  As my side, I usually get the antipasto pasta salad.  It’s so fresh and light. What a delicious treat.
