Our family is separated by hundreds of miles, so the holidays usually mean that someone has to travel.  Our family Thanksgivings don’t last just one day; they’re more of a weeklong celebration.  That becomes quite expensive for the hosts!!!  It’s not unusual for our family to spend more than $300 on just the Thanksgiving meal when we host a gathering.  Then we have another 3 or 4 days of feeding and hosting everyone on top of that.  Ouch!  There’s no rule that says we have to spend that much; it’s just that everyone has their own special requests and expectations.  Thanksgiving dinner has become somewhat of a religion in our culture.  Some families sensationalized the holiday so much that mothers and grandmothers slave for hours, even days, in the kitchen to prepare the meal their family expects.  No one wants to see a disappointed guest on Thanksgiving.  If you’ve become accustomed to this tradition in your family, give mom and grandma a break. Buca di Beppo is ready to do all the work — and even the dishes!  This year, give the family a Buca Style Thanksgiving Feast.  You can enjoy all of the holiday favorites by just lifting your phone.  Everyone can get what they want, and the hostess can sit back and enjoy!

Buca is a lovely restaurant with a wonderful vintage setting.  It’s a delight to sit in a Buca restaurant because of the festive, buzzing energy of the staff.  Consider making Thanksgiving reservations at the local Buca di Beppo. This is a great option if your family is out of town for the holiday.  Most locations will be open at 11:00 am, so you’ll be back in time for your after-turkey nap.  Although the regular menu is available on Thanksgiving Day, you can also enjoy traditional favorites with an Italian twist.  White meat turkey or hickory-smoked ham, roasted garlic mashed potatoes with homestyle gravy, spicy Italian sausage stuffing, and green beans will be waiting for you!  Pumpkin pie and cranberry sauce are included, too. I love this option because the entire family can meet at the restaurant, getting exactly what they want, with the burden of the holiday falling on no one.

If you prefer to stay indoors for Thanksgiving, send someone out for the Thanksgiving Feast Party Pan to go.  Check to see if curbside pickup is available at your Buca di Beppo and you might not even have to get out of the car! This service is so convenient.  It’s perfect for those who have to work on the holiday.  It’s also a great option for those who want to hit the holiday sales before the deals get cold!  Since it’s so convenient and affordable to grab one of these to-go meals, consider getting a Party Pan to go for those people in your life who might not be physically able to shop for or cook their own Thanksgiving dinner.  It would be a great option for new parents who are too exhausted to prepare a frozen waffle, much less a Thanksgiving meal!  Perhaps you could even get a meal to go for that new family who just moved in down the street. Who could you bless with a Buca di Beppo meal this Thanksgiving?

Do you see your favorite dish in the Buca di Beppo Thanksgiving Feast?

My daughter has always wanted to cater it or go out. In theory anyway. It sounds great so no one is stuck in the kitchen, but we always want leftovers. Ordering what you want like this is a nice middle. You don’t have to do all the work but you are still getting a full meal so you have leftovers. Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels to all!
