Don't leave anyone out this year - start a tshirt tradition! savingsinseconds.com

Our family doesn’t really have a tradition for the holidays. We all pitch in to make things work; sometimes we travel to another state to visit family, other years they come to us. There have been times we were separated for the holidays or when we went on a vacation instead! I know there are lots of families who have a lifelong standing date for Thanksgiving. Maybe you all head to Grandma’s house for the annual family dinner. Perhaps you take a cruise together to celebrate the holidays. Whatever your tradition, how about starting a new t-shirt tradition this year?

1.  Find an online source for making your shirts.  That way, even faraway family members can participate! CafePress is a great place to start.

2.  Come up with a catchy logo.  Not too creative?  That’s okay; there are lots of great design ideas out there.  Browse around and find one you like.  You can just edit the text to fit your family’s name, date, or whatever!

3.  Figure out how many you’ll need.  Order a few extras to have on hand for unexpected guests. You know, your cousin’s new girlfriend or maybe the long-lost uncle who suddenly decided to visit.  What a great way to make everyone feel included!

Having a special family t-shirt is a great way to include everyone.  Even if you’re not together for the holidays, you’ll be united in your t-shirtness!

Have you ever had a group t-shirt?  What was it for?
