I have nothing against big companies, but I do have great respect for small businesses and their owners.  One reason that I offer free advertising to local businesses is that they are truly the lifeblood of our communities.  The families who own these businesses send their children to the local schools, purchase homes in our neighborhoods, and often know their customers by name.  The owners of these businesses sponsor little league sports and PTA events at my kids’ schools.  That’s why I’m pledging to Shop Small–on Saturday November 26 you can make a difference by joining the movement.     Read more about it on Facebook or Vocalpoint.  Plus, you could win a $25 gift card when you make your pledge!
