When I was in high school, I participated in a church group competition that traveled across the country each year. My grandmother was the sponsor, and she spent hundreds of hours raising the money for our team to go on the trip. Pear could help get uniforms for local baseball teams.
Pear helps coordinate sponsors for needed projects like sports team uniforms or after school activities.
Pear could help sponsor kids for the walk a thons. They could give shirts to the groups to get them started.

I think pear would be beneficial for any school particularly hillside.
It looks like Pear could help our teams at school (especially the girl’s teams) get new uniforms. It seems the boys always have new stuff, not so much the girls!
Books mean a lot to my family and we try to give to our local housing organization when we can. Pear Up could help to make sure all the kids for the year have at least one book of their own.

KC Pet Project takes in lots of cats and dogs…they could really use more food and supplies.

There are many school supplies drives around at the beginning of the year. Pear Up could help do a drive and give school supplies in the middle or later on when people don’t think about it.
I don’t have any direct connections with children’s school organizations, my nieces and nephews are not yet school age, but soon. Pear looks like a fantastic organization though, knowing how tight school budgets are and how many are having to cut extra programs, matching with sponsors it great.
