Relish Reusable Giveaway: April 1-15

rr-header Welcome to the Relish Reusable Giveaway Hop.  This event is hosted by Measuring Flower and Eco Crazy Mom.   The participating green bloggers worked together to bring you lots of fun, eco-friendly, and reusable giveaways worth a minimum of $25 each. After you’ve entered the awesome Savings in Seconds giveaway below, be sure to “hop” on to the next blog to enter that giveaway as well. You can find a list linking to all the other blogs towards the bottom of this post.  Make sure you enter the event’s big grand grand prizes, including $200 of reusable products donated by Reuseit.com!

There has been a change in sponsor for this event. Savings in Seconds is so excited to work with Grow It Now to bring you a prize package valued at over $25.  Grow It Now specializes in plant protectors that can help extend your garden’s growing season.  By using these weather-resistant plant protectors, you keep your plants healthier and sheltered so that they are better producers.   With proper care, these plant protectors can be reused and will last for many seasons!   You can use these in windy areas, too, by utilizing the anchoring system.  Also, don’t worry about snow and low temperatures when you’re using your plant protectors.    It’s easy to water through the top of the plant protector, or just install them over your soaker hose if you have one.  The Grow It Now website has lots of gardening tips that I’m excited to try this year.  I’m hoping to put out my tomatoes 3 weeks earlier than normal (which will be soon!) using my plant protectors.  Now, keep in mind that I have to put out the disclaimer that Grow It Now & Savings in Seconds are not responsible if something bad happens when you try this — if you plant your chili peppers on April 1 and they don’t grow, for example. So use your common sense.  But I have so many plants started from seed that I can afford to lose a few, but it’s also worth taking the risk if it means an earlier harvest!

Check out this video to see how easy it is to set up your garden.

One lucky Savings in Seconds reader will receive a $25 prize package from Grow It Now.  Enter using the rafflecopter form.  The giveaway is open to US readers ages 18+ (except where prohibited by law.)  Good luck!
