My kids are still young.  Their faces are changing.  The big shock this year was when we took my daughter shoe-shopping before school started and realized that she was able to wear my size shoes.  How did that happen so quickly?   Every once in a while I take a few minutes to look at her baby pictures and just absorb her absolute adorableness.  My son is only four years old but already I can see that his baby days are over.  His face is taking on that childlike shape that only looks like his baby self when he’s sleeping.  Do you know what I’m talking about?  If so, take a few minutes before 2013 is over and make a photo book to preserve those wonderful memories from this year.  Blurb’s 2013 Gift Guide can be a great source to find inspiration.

It’s so easy to create your custom book! Your photos don’t have to be taken during an expensive vacation or a sentimental moment.  You could make a photo book full of the fun, free activities like bike riding or going fishing.   Check out the ABC children’s book on page 6 and the cookbooks on page 7. The Gift Guide also serves as an instruction guide for how to make a beautiful Blurb book gift for anyone in your life. Get a head start on your Holiday gifts by creating your own Blurb book and save 20% through 10/7 with code EARLYBIRD20.   My kids love looking through their photo books and hearing the stories that surround the images.  You could even take pictures of your kids doing their favorite activities at each age.  In a few years, those will be some very special memories.  Don’t wait until the holiday spirit sweeps you off your feet.  If you start on your gift books now, you can enjoy the holidays without having to worry about what you’ll give this year for Christmas.

Photo books are great for scrap booking memories, showing off a holiday, or simply keeping track of your family growing. We love photography and photos in my family and realize the importance of cherishing your photos and memories. These places offer high quality books and often have great sales.
