Recently, a blast from the past landed in the mailbox. A colleague from many years ago sent a baby announcement that was a huge surprise. Guess its just the cynic in me, but why was a colleague (not friend) from many years ago (not recent) sending you a birth announcement? You are nicer than I am. I wouldn’t be buying a gift. I’d be filing that in the round file. 🙂
