If you haven’t read Christian fiction because you’re afraid that it will be full of subliminal messages and evangelistic talk, you are really missing out. The main thing I notice in the genre is the absence of things that I don’t want to visualize or read about anyway. The plots, characters, and settings are not unlike many mainstream fiction books. Think chick-lit without the steamy stuff.
