The moral of the story is, book titles matter.

Okay, that’s not the moral of the story.  It could be, though.  When I saw that title, I couldn’t help but wonder, “Whaaaa?”  Tongue-in-cheek title aside, When Jesus was a Green-Eyed Brunette by Max Davis has a fresh, spontaneous approach to what it means to be in the world but not of the world.

Here’s a little secret for you – my copy of the book hasn’t arrived yet.  I couldn’t wait, so I sneak-peeked to find out what to expect.  It reminds me a lot of a fine-tuned Chicken Soup for the Soul.  Whispers of God call all around us; if you’ve been too busy to listen, read a story or two from the book. You’ll have your eyes and ears open for God’s message! I’ll add a more complete review once I get to read my copy.

One lucky US reader will win a copy of the book, thanks to FlyBy. Open to US readers ages 18+. Void where prohibited by law.  Note specific sponsor guidelines:  Only one entrant per mailing address, per giveaway.  If you have won a prize from our sponsor Propeller / FlyBy Promotions in the last 30 days, you are not eligible to win.  Or if you have won the same prize on another blog, you are not eligible to win it again. Winner is subject to eligibility verification.
