Today at work we revealed our identity to our secret pals. Having a secret pal is so much fun. Personally I enjoy giving gifts even more than receiving them. Knowing that I can do it in secret makes it special. Making someone smile is my superpower. The reveal party is always fun because we get to see that all of us care for each other. There were so many smiles, laughs, and hugs. It made me glad to be a girl.
There were so many fun gifts at the reveal party that it gave me lots of good ideas for next year. I loved hearing what each woman did for her pal. My pal brought me a sweet tea or a doughnut several times. It was so nice to sip on that throughout the day, knowing someone thought of me! At the reveal party, we typically give a nicer gift (something $25 or so). My secret pal gave me a reusable cup filled with treats plus a gift card to a local spa for a pedicure. Yippee, I can’t wait to use it!

I second the umbrella thing! lol! I don’t know how many of them I have purchased over the years ~ it is like they grow legs and run away! If a girlfriend at the office bought me one – I’d be thrilled!
I think another great gift idea for a pal at work would be a cute lunch tote (Vera Bradley) has some super cute ones. You could fill it with some snacks or iced coffees… honestly, stuffing the tote will be the easy part. Deciding which one to get is the hardest part!

What a great idea! We’ve done this as a blogging group but I have never done it with work pals.
What a neat idea! Who wouldn’t love a surprise little gift every nwo and then? I like to give gifts that the person doesn’t “know” they want but that I know appeal to their interests. So its a surprise and something they like/want/need at the same time. 🙂
