As you know Tommy Nelson carries many of our favorite faith-based books for kids. We recently received the God’s Little Princess Bible, complete with devotions from Sheila Walsh. It reminded me of the special way God cares for His children.
One of my favorite books-turned-movie is The Little Princess. In this story, Sara Crewe teaches her friends that every little girl is a princess. In God’s eyes, that’s so true. With Halloween approaching, many little girls will be wearing a princess dress, a tiara, and perhaps some glass (or clear plastic) slippers. Will she feel like a princess? With beautiful pink-lined pages and sweet devotions, this Bible is perfect for toting along to church, dance class, or on a road trip. The pink ribbon bookmark can help your princess stay on her page. The devotions are meaningful and relevant to lives of elementary age girls (probably 3rd grade through 5th can best relate.) There are important life lessons brought up in these devotions, such as teacher appreciation and demonstrating gratitude. The only thing I didn’t like about the format was the tiny print. It’s probably just my old age but I had a hard time reading the text because it was so small! The final pages of the Bible are blank with general headings for personal prayer lists, special events, and other topics. God’s Little Princess Bible would make a wonderful gift!
My niece would love this. She was just recently saved and baptized. She said it felt like a thousand pounds was lifted off her shoulders.
Congrats to her, Crystal. That is wonderful news!
I love that there is a 13 wk Bible study with this Bible. I would love to give this Bible to one of my granddaughters.
this is the cutest little bible!
I love the idea of “princess prayers” and Bible Study. This would be great for my granddaughter.
Regal Relationships is a good category to have. Bible relationships can be hard to follow with the long family lines and several people with the same name.
The author actually has a son not a daughter…interesting.
I love all the bibles and the books for children. When I was a teacher at a church I gave the bulk bibles to my class for Christmas.
The 6-10 age is great….my granddaughter is 6.
Wonderful that that it features in depth information and helps.
The Going Deeper section sounds very interesting and good for bonding.
It’s great that they has a special price for the Bible. Every little bit off helps.
I think this is a very good idea, so many girls love princesses and having a Bible like this would make it easier to relate!!
I like how they have it set out weekly and then in sections for easy reading.
