IntelliARMOR protects my phone - enter to win an #IntelliGLASS screen protector! savingsinseconds.com

I finally got an iPhone in late 2014 when my BlackBerry died.  New to the world of iPhones and other such fancy items, I didn’t know what to get to protect my phone. I went with the $10 monthly insurance because it seemed highly likely that I’d drop my phone, crack the screen, or some other worse fate.  My phone is so thin and easy to hold that I didn’t want to bulk it up with a huge cover.  Instead, mine is very thin and lightweight; it’s also really pretty!  But what about leaving the screen vulnerable?  I didn’t know how to resolve that problem. When intelliARMOR offered to send me a screen protector, I was excited but a bit intimidated by the idea of having to apply something to the front that would actually stay on.  Would my screen still be touch-sensitive?  Would the protector be in my way?  Would it add to the thickness of my phone?  Oh, the trials of new technology for a dinosaur like me!

So many of my students have purchased a new phone or iPad because of a cracked screen.  That’s a tragic loss of an expensive item, especially when you take into account the waste it would create.  I had a terrible time getting my iPad screen replaced when it broke a couple of years ago. IntelliGLASS can help phones and other glass-screen devices to stay out of landfills by protecting them from scratches and other minor damage. It’s simple to put the glass screen on your phone — it only took me a couple of minutes! The directions are so easy to follow, and the materials you need are all included in the package.  After cleaning my phone screen in three separate (but short) steps, it was time to adhere the glass cover!

There were a few small air bubbles under my screen, but they easily slide out when I gently wiped the cover with the microfiber cloth.  My concerns about losing the touch screen?  Totally invalid. My phone worked perfectly immediately after I applied the glass screen cover!  I feel so much better knowing that my phone is protected. I might just drop that $10 insurance after all!

Could you use an intelliGLASS screen protector?  You’re in luck!  One Savings in Seconds reader will win one.  The giveaway is open to US/CAN residents ages 18+. Void where prohibited by law. Good luck!

I think it is so cool that it is made from real glass! The one I have for my Nexus is like a thick film you apply, and while it works good and the clarity is almost as good as the real thing, it was very hard to apply it without getting wrinkles and the touch screen doesn’t work as well.
