Guard Your ID from identity thieves — plus DISCOUNT

At home, you’re vigilant about shredding bank statements and credit card offers.  At work, you tear papers in pieces so no one will be able to piece them together.  But what about other places?  Are you as careful when you’re on vacation?  This is the main area where I’m a bit lax on my identity protection.    When we purchased identity theft protection, we were told that children’s IDs are more often stolen because the data doesn’t get checked on a regular basis.  When a child applies for college or a first job, it can result in the discovery of a stolen ID that can take years to clean up.  What a headache!  There are simple fixes to help you avoid such disaster.

You  know the basics.   Don’t toss your receipts in the trash can at the gas station.   When traveling, keep your hotel express checkout paper to shred when you get home.   If you don’t have a shredder, though, it’s easy to make the simple mistake of leaving your identity vulnerable.  Unfortunately identity thieves can find you anywhere.  Make it harder for them to track you down by using Guard Your ID products. I received the small Stamp, a Regular Roller and a Camouflage Tape to review.   I found these to be so easy to use!  Guard Your ID really  makes it simple to protect your identity on virtually any printed material.

Guard Your ID products help you protect your ID -- savingsinseconds.com

The products are so versatile that anyone can use them.  This would make a very thoughtful gift for an elderly parent who likes to keep their information private.  Keep a set in your car and at your desk.  You can save 25% on your purchase by using code BLOG2014.  This discount is available  through September 30, 2014.   These products are earth-friendly, too.  The rollers have a refillable cartridge so that they can be used for years to come.  We often send in magazines and catalogs for craft projects at school; this is an easy way to cover our address without marking over it with a Sharpie.   The camouflage tape is even useful for marking out profanity in novels when I don’t want my daughter to read such words!   Every home and commercial office needs to keep Guard Your ID products on hand.

Great post. I didn’t even know these products were out there, but they would definitely be handy to have. We have stacks of things to shred but often it just piles up. Another thing often not thought about are your prescription labels. You don’t just want anyone having that information.
