This is my 22nd year of teaching in a 6th grade classroom. Over the years, I’ve been amazed at the change in technology availability! In fact, today one of my students informed me that there are 3 times as many electronics on Earth as there are people. I’m not surprised, are you? Starter Device
In middle school, many of our students are busy with after school activities, so cell phones are extremely common. A starter phone helped both of my children adjust to the responsibility of taking care of an expensive item! Just as you might look for a budget option for your child’s first musical instrument or even a car, you can save money with a certified pre-owned iPhone! These tend to be more affordable than buying at the cell phone retailer. I also like the added benefit of not needing to sign a contract for the purchase. That’s helpful when your child is learning to pay for his own cell phone, too!

My sister just upgraded to a Samsung 8 even though the clerk had to go find one in the back room – they were really pushing the 9 or ordering the 10, but she figured an 8 was more than she needs after using her older model for so long.
