I’ve seen Mrs. Renfro’s salsa products in the store many times but hadn’t tried them before. The most tempting flavor combination for me was the Pineapple Salsa. I loved the sweet tang of the pineapple contrasted with the mildly spicy salsa. This variety is not too hot at all (even for a wimp like me!) and would be a beautiful complement to any recipe. Our family also enjoyed the peach salsa. We purchase a similar salsa on occasion at the Farmer’s Market. I was so surprised to see how affordable Mrs. Renfro’s salsa is online, especially for the generous amount each jar holds! I plan to add these delicious salsas to our family recipes for tacos, fajitas, and other meals — as well as eat it as a snack! As you can see from my picture, the jars come packed in a sturdy box. These would make a wonderful gift for those on your holiday list! Consider serving Mrs. Renfro’s salsa and cheese products at your holiday gatherings, too. Since our Room on the Broom DVD arrived, my son has watched it almost daily. Based on the picture book by the same name, this video is enchanting. Themes such as friendship, trust, and acceptance are introduced through the adventures of this motley crew. When a dragon tries to eat the witch, her friends stand up for her in a big way! The animation is absolutely gorgeous. It almost has a textural depth; for example, when you look at the broom you can imagine how bristly it must feel. I loved this movie just as much as my children did! Encourage your kids to make predictions about what will happen next, ask them what they would do in that situation, and laugh along with them when the funny parts happen. Room on the Broom is another outstanding NCircle Entertainment title. You can find this DVD and all other NCircle movies on their website as well as at local retailers.
Sometimes it’s hard to explain tough situations to children. When uncertainty strikes, kids react in ways that adults don’t always predict. God Is Always Good gently offers comfort for situations like being separated from a loved one. This board book is a sweet reminder that God is in control. When you don’t have the words to express emotions to your child, this is a good option. It can open the door to deeper discussion and may also help bridge that gap through illustrations. While a little wordy at times, the book is an excellent resource for sensitive topics.

It is difficult to explain death to my children….they recently lost their grandfather and will soon lose a beloved pet.

I would like to try the garlic salsa as well. I would give the dvd to my children and i have difficulty in explaining why God allows all the bad things to happen in the world.
I would like to try the mild Chow Chow and watch the DVD with my son. The hardest topic to talk to kids about is why people and animals die. (Couldn’t choose so I answered them all! 🙂 )

It’s hard when one grandkid grows up some and no longer wants to play with younger sibling. Explaining to my grandduaghter why her brother and his friends no longer want to include her is hard.

I think death is the hardest to discuss with a child.
I would love to watch this Movie Room on the Broom with my youngest granddaughters, and we could snack out on Mrs Renfro Mexican Fudge, it sounds delicious with green salsa and cheddar cheese, I would also love to try the Blackbean salsa, peach Salsa green salsa and the Mexican Mild Sauce. Not talking with my family about death is very hard and the book God is Always good may help. thank you

The pineapple and green salsas look good! I don’t think I would watch ‘room on the broom,” I would say explaining handicaps would be difficult to a child.
Mrs. Renfro’s Chipotle Nacho Cheese Sauce sounds great to eat during the football games.
