In case you haven’t been to the store in a few days — Father’s Day is Sunday. For some reason, dads tend to get the short stick on Father’s Day. In May, we’re all buzzing around buying hanging plants, jewelry, and other awesome gifts for our moms. In June, we tend to scramble around looking for a man-type thing to give to our dads using whatever pocket change we have left from vacation. My kids have been programmed to buy dad something that he uses. They usually want to get him a tie (he wears them daily) but this year, they decided to get him a new belt. We went to Zazzle because it’s fun to customize the gifts there. Yes, you can even customize a belt!
We decided on the belt when I saw it on Zazzle’s Father’s Day page. It wasn’t eligible for the discount code, but that was okay. We had a credit left over from our last purchase, so that softened the blow. The belt is clearly a step above the cheaper versions we typically purchase from the back corner of Old Navy. The leather on this belt has an expensive feel to it (probably because it was tanned in Italy…think shoes!!) We were able to select every little feature on this belt, from the color of the leather to the finish on the buckle. I made a mistake and forgot to change the belt loop color to brown, to match the rest of the belt. Oops! It has a very dressy look, and the quality is unmistakable. We’ll definitely purchase another one in black at some point, because my husband’s black belt is ready to call it quits any day now.
There are so many fun options for Dad at Zazzle that you might have trouble finding just one gift! I love these tongue-in-cheek t-shirts.
What about a custom dart board for his man cave?
Whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it at Zazzle! They always seem to have a code going, whether it’s free shipping or a discount. Be sure to check at the top of the Zazzle page for the current offer. Enjoy!
Oh, I do like Zazzle. I hadn’t thought of them for Father’s Day, though. They have some cute stuff!
Great options and a way for kids – and adults – to put thought and creativity into the gift. I just read that ties are the number one father’s day gift, but not all dad’s need or want a tie.
