A celebrity who inspires me is Drew Barrymore. I have enjoyed watching her movies since I was a kid. Actually, since we were both kids. I feel like I’ve grown up watching her grow up. She’s getting a lot of attention these days because she’s cleaned up her act. I’m so glad to see a success story from Hollywood. I don’t care who got a nose job
or which celebrity has real hair. Those things are really superficial.
When I see a famous couple who has made it through thick and thin, like Jeff Bridges who has been married to the same woman for 28 years, I celebrate their happiness.
In Barrymore’s case, she went through a rocky period. Who doesn’t go through a tough time in their teen years? She just experienced all of it in the public eye, and the public doesn’t forget. In her adulthood, she’s had so many successful advertising campaigns and career advancing opportunities. She’s played some difficult roles with controversial topics. Now that she’s producing and directing movies, I know that she’ll make a difference in that way, too. For example, she is rumored to be the one to direct the film based on Ally Carter’s young adult books Heist Society. Now a married mom, her beauty is both inner and outer. She can change her look so easily and seemingly effortlessly, yet she’s always got that understated classic beauty. In this article, she states that she still doesn’t feel totally like an adult. I can so relate to that statement! Sometimes I think, how did I get here? Is this really my life?
So kudos to Drew Barrymore for rising above life and fame to reach a happy place. I’m on your side, Drew!

Sounds like a really cool challenge. I am doing a “build a better blog” challenge. It’s a bit different. I will keep an eye on your progress.
I LOVE Drew Barrymore. I use to kind of be obsessed with her in High School. She a huge idol of mine.

I’ve always thought Drew Barrymore was inspiring too!
I am also a fan of Drew but I have to disagree with just one small part of your post. I think the public never forgets when a female does something that they regret, when it comes to guys, namely sports figures, they quickly forgive and forget.
